• Adele Azzopardi Giappone
Adele's soprano voice is beautiful, light and lively. She controls her voice very well and is able to make beautiful improvisations.

• Dorothy Borg Bonnici
Dorothy is a high alto, has a natural feeling for improvisation, rhythm and has a good, steady and secure voice with a wide range. Her natural feeling for gospels shows in her performance.

• Silvana Buttigieg
Silvana is a soprano with a beautiful warm timbre. She adds a lot of emotion to her solo parts. The colouring reminds us of blues and jazz as well as the more delicate pieces of gospel.

• Lara Camilleri
Lara has a beautiful alto voice and also often also takes care of the understudy parts.

• Rachel Camilleri
Rachel is a natural bright mezzo-soprano, whose style is delicate and touching. One of a kind. She can change the whole atmosphere around a song, can put a spell on the audience and touch the hearts of many people.

 
• Thea Falzon Garrett
Thea has an amazing classical soprano voice! She has a range which is dazzling. Thea is one of our youngest members, but has now already absolutely world class.

• Claire Galea
Claire is a singer with a beautiful clear and bright voice. She is able to sing very sensitive parts with a delicate voice, as well as singing gospels with a strong voice in a determined way.

 •  Roberta Mallia
Roberta is EnKor's youngest soloist. As a little girl she once was a guest soloist a few years ago, enchanting the audience with an angelic voice.  From the moment  Roberta joined EnKor as candidate member she developed so fast that already after half a year she could join the choir as a full member and recently she has her own solo in Amazing Grace.

• Jackie Pace Delicata
Jackie is an experienced all round soprano, who performs the classical and gospel repertoire with a beautiful, warm and powerful voice. She sings with deep expression, creates a dark warm timbre in the lower range of a solo and changes into a powerful and clear high soprano in the higher range.

• Henrietta Tabone
Henrietta has a warm alto voice, is steady and secure and uses a lot of expression.



Soloists (Tenors and Baritones):

• Joseph Cachia
Joseph is a powerful tenor. He is very secure. He has a talent in controlling music very quickly.

• Edward Camilleri
Edward has a beautiful warm voice and has a range which is amazing. He is the "Bocelli" of EnKor.

• Martin Chetcuti
Martin has an agile and sonorous voice in the low tenor range. Gives a wonderful interpretation of an old (17th century) Spanish Christmas carol in its original language. He manages to create a special rhythm in his solo, without the help of any instruments (the piece is sung a capella), by using certain accents and dynamics.

 • Josef Micallef

Josef is a very secure baritone. He has the skills to add a lot of expression to his way of singing by making use of dynamics and breath technique, but also by the way he experiences the music, which shows in his movements and facial expression.

• Aldo Polidano

Aldo is besides a highly talented and skilled artist also a tenor whose specialty is sensitive gospel singing. He has a beautiful voice and a good feeling for rhythm and expression. Besides a good singer, Aldo also composed our popular gospel "King of Kings" (to listen to this song, please click on this title in the bar on the left). He designed our EnKor logo as well and many beautiful posters for our concerts. EnKor is very grateful to Polidano Press Ltd. for the great professional support and many much appreciated contributions.

 
• Robert Radmilli
A tenor who can sing classical as well as gospel parts with a great deal of gusto! Robert's way of performing the gospel solos is very convincing and with a great deal of gusto.


Section leaders:

During rehearsals the choir may be split up into four or more sections, depending on the piece being studied. Every section has its own section leaders, who study the music together with their respective sections in a separate rehearsal room.

Sound team:

EnKor has its own sound technicians. There are Clyde Camilleri, Denis Mallia, and Karl Schembri who take care of the sound. All EnKor's members assist in turns in transport, setting up and breaking down of the equipment.
