Gospel mass at St. Lawrence Church, Birgu. During the gospels
the people in the church immediately started to participate.


March 12, 2005
Lent/Easter Concert at St. Patrick's Church, Sliema. Premiere
of Were you there, specially arranged for EnKor by Henk van der Sanden. Also
premiere of new arrangement of Amazing Grace. In this piece two little girls
aged 8 and 9 (Miriana Ferrito and Roberta Mallia) sang solo which truly
enchanted the audience. The concert was very well received.

March 15, 2005
Special Mass for Gloria Camilleri. To celebrate the birthday and retirement of
EnKorister Gloria, EnKor sang during a special mass held at St. Joseph's Convent
in Rabat. St. Joseph's Convent, Rabat.

Easter Sunday Mass at Mother of Good Counsel Church,
Paceville. The international audience and EnKor experienced a beautiful Easter
Mass in which all participated wholeheartedly. EnKor received many compliments.

Spring Concertat the Salesian Theatre, Sliema. Concert
organised by EnKor. Successful performance in a full house. Audience from all
over the island and from abroad. Enthusiastic response and participation. Great
soloists, professionally performed accompaniment, refined and touching choir and
ensemble, full of expression.

May 13, 2005
Official Opening of Dutch Embassy. EnKor was singing at Whitehall Mansions.
Compliments to EnKor from Dutch Prime Minister. EnKor performed during the
official opening of the Embassy of the Netherlands in Ta'Xbiex. The Guest of
Honor was the Prime Minister of the Netherlands, dr. Balkenende.
Our host was the Dutch Ambassador to Malta H.E. Mr. Wilton. Many dignitaries
like Maltese members of parliament and international ambassadors were present.
First EnKor performed classical repertoire, followed by the national anthems of
both Malta and the Netherlands. Later on during the reception, which followed
the official opening, the choir entertained the guests with swinging gospel.
Again EnKor received many compliments and is honored to have contributed to this
special event.
June 12, 2005
Festivities of 700 years San Nikola minn Tolentino. Forming
part of a beautiful celebration, EnKor gave a concert at St. Monica School in
Gzira. Amongst classical and gospel repertoire there was the premiere of EnKor's
version of Oh happy day, with a jamming "improvisation" part for musicians,
choir and soloists at the end. The audience loved it!

Gospel mass at the Augustinian's church, Rabat. EnKor sang parts of its gospel
repertoire. The mass ended with an enthusiastic final song in which choir as
well as audience participated by singing and clapping.

Twinning Commemorative Concert at the Independence Gardens Sliema Boulevard.
EnKor performing at the Indepence Gardens. As part of the twinning celebrations
between Sliema and the French city Les Sables d'Olonnes the mayor of Sliema Mr
Albert Bonello Dupuis Hundreds of people of audience offered the official French
Delegation a live open air Summer Concert by EnKor.
On this lovely summer evening in the romantic ambiance amongst the palms of the
beautiful gardens near the sea, the concert attracted hundreds of people, who
enjoyed a selection of EnKor's varied repertoire - swinging gospels, EnKor
originals, but also pieces like the famous Pie Jesu were impressive. For the
occasion, the African song in French Le Grand Hallel and the popular Maltese L-Imnarja
were added to EnKor's repertoire. Also official pieces like the European Hymn
Ode to Joy and the Innu Malti were part of the program.

Concert at Mediterranean Conference Centre. EnKor gave a
sparkling concert fo an dignified audience which came from all over the world.
Besides Maltese compositions the gospels were appreciated so much that the
audience was chanting: "We want more" after the last encore. The compliments
were overwhelming. The La Vallette Hall.

Wedding at Siggiewi Parish Church of the daughter of EnKor's flautist. Special
experience. The choir sections were spread over three very high and narrow
balconies at the back of the church, overlooking the congregation far below. The
picture gives an impression of the extreme height. The classical repertoire
didn't only sound heavenly but also seemed to come from heaven, One of the high
balconies at because of the location of the choir. Siggiewi's parish church.

Master class. Kees Doevendans, working with EnKor during the Tuesday rehearsal
at Villa Santa Maria. About two years ago Kees Doevendans, who is a Dutch
conductor, musicologist and great musician, came to Malta to give EnKor some
intensive and comprehensive workshops, in which choir singing, techniques and
refinements played an important role. EnKor was very happy and grateful to
welcome Kees again this year. During this session Kees introduced interesting
exercises focusing on resonance and vowels. After a great session the evening
ended with a party.


November 20, 2005
Opening Ceremony of the Commonwealth Peoples Forum at the Mediterranean
Conference Centre (MCC), Valetta. EnKor officially opened the first event of the
Commonwealth jubilee with the singing of the Maltese National Anthem: the Innu
Malti. After the official opening EnKor also sang some of its own originals and
some swinging gospels.

Performance at MCC participating in the Commonwealth Jubilee. Starting with L-Imnarja and later on swinging for CHOGM. During the gospel pieces the international audience joined in, as EnKor did with the next perfomers from the Caribbean. There was a great atmosphere and the performances ended up in a real feast in which everyone wholeheartedly participated. Singing, swinging, dancing limbo, together with musicians from all over the world.

Christmas Concert This concert was exactly like last year at the same date
at the same venue organized again by the Rotary Club La Valette Malta in aid of
the Embellishment of the Santa Margherita Lines, Birgu. The enthusiastic
responses were overwhelming. Also people from abroad, who attended last year's
concert came specially to Malta to attend also this concert. Great atmosphere at
the Salesian theatre.

Radio recordings at RTK studio. At RTK studio Musicians
improvising (space & music) Soloists positions for Ave Maria Within one take
many of EnKor's Christmas pieces were recorded, which were broadcasted several
times during Christmas time.

Gospel mass at Lija Church. EnKor performed a selection out
of their gospel repertoire.

December 20, 2005
Christmas Concert at St.Mary's Parish Church (Knisja l-Qadima) Birkirkara. In
this beautiful church EnKor gave a Christmas concert, in which also "Unchained
Melody" participated in three songs. Francesco Ghirxi composed and played for
this occasion a brilliant organ piece: Angels from the realms of glory. The
concert, which was received very well by the audience, was again for charity.
The proceeds of the collection were donated to L-Istrina.

Mass at Mother of Good Counsel Church, Paceville. 25th
wedding anniversary of Johanna and René van Lent, who were honored that EnKor
sang parts of its beautiful Christmas repertoire in this mass of gratitude.
