Performances in the Netherlands
December 19, 2004
Holy mass at Mother of Good Counsel Church, The Hague, the Netherlands, EnKor
sang during mass for this international Parish (over 80 nationalities) and
enjoyed a wonderful atmosphere. The inspiring father, many children from all
over the world, the community and the choir, which sang also its own original
compositions, contributed to such a unique experience! All ended clapping,
singing, swinging and even stamping with their feet and whistling. EnKor sang 4
songs after the "final" song of the mass, which ended like a feast!
December 19, 2004
Christmas Concert at the Crowne Plaza Den Haag Promenade, the Hague. In this exclusive Hotel, EnKor sang a concert of an hour, in a beautiful decorated lobby, all over in Christmas style. EnKor sang a selection of their Christmas repertoire. Centuries-old music, new arrangements of traditional Christmas Carols, own compositions and of course some swinging gospels.

Gala concert for Childright at 'De Duif', Prinsengracht 756, Amsterdam. To mark
the beginning of the Dutch EU-Presidency in July 2004, HE Mr. Rienko Wilton, the
Netherlands Ambassador to Malta, hosted a reception at his Residence and asked
EnKor to entertain his distinguished guests. To mark the end of the Dutch
EU-Presidency, EnKor was invited to perform at a gala benefit dinner hosted by
the Maltese Embassy in the Netherlands for the Nobel prizewinners children’s
fund “Childright” (www.childright.nl)
Gala concert at De Duif, Prinsengracht, Amsterdam. EnKor sang the national
anthems from both Malta and the Netherlands in its original languages by heart,
just like the other pieces of the concert and the other performances in the
Netherlands. Some medieval pieces, sung a capella from the balcony of De Duif
overlooking the diners, made the audience experience an authentic atmosphere of
hundreds of years ago.
EnKor was singing from the balcony of the Duif. EnKor closed
the evening by singing swinging gospels, including the King of Kings is Born,
composed by EnKor’s very own member, Aldo Polidano. EnKor seemed to have
put a spell on the audience since the guests joined in by singing along, dancing
and applauding enthusiastically.
