	About EnKor
	The Maltese choir EnKor, founded and directed by Johanna van Lent-Singels, consists of 40 talented singers and musicians who perform a varied selection of classical and spiritual pieces and original works by Maltese composers. EnKor’s favourite style is gospel. This together with its great soloists and extended band distinguishes the group from the average choir.     The choir has, since its inception in November 2002, performed on many special occasions, which are listed chronologically in the History chapter.     EnKor sings regularly in masses, concerts, charity marathons and performances for television and radio events. Besides being popular in Malta, other countries have requested EnKor’s participation in a number of important events.     The Gala benefit dinner for the Nobel Prizewinners’ Children’s Fund “ChildRight” in Amsterdam was EnKor’s first international concert. The group was also recently honoured to have been invited to perform in Ireland and were sole-performers at Dublin-on-Ice and also at a Christmas concert for international ambassadors.
